    Biggest thing would be getting the belt. Google not throwing up motor factors that open Sunday.

    halfords maybe? They stock some belts, but the choice is limited.

    There's a motor factors in Derry called Alan Orr, they're supposed to be good. But opening times and phone numbers, I don't know.

    What's the belt on? Lots of cars will drive without one - if the fan itself is electric, then the belt is powering air-con, steering assist, and alternator(none of which are errr, essentials). Can you not just row on home, then get it fixed? Might sound daft, but check and see what it's actually powering.

    If it's powering the water pump or the actual fan(shouldn't be, but might depending on car), you're forked. W.P is usually off the timing belt though. You'll have heavy steering, but look on it as a bit of a gym workout..
