Today I saw nearly the full contents of a 40ft trailer worth of office furniture going into the place. All shiny and new. They have also been doing the place up for absolutely ages now, which is hardly going to be cheap for them either.

Where do they get the money for this sort of project in todays recessionary times? Is there a taxpayer-funded grant for this or is it all "donations" (corruption)?

You'd think with the country 100bn in debt they'd get some second hand stuff in, no shortage of that sort of thing on adverts even for free. No doubt one of their night shift social media monitoring minions will be on here soon explaining in great detail why they need a 100% brand new dent free filing cabinet to effectively do their work for the good of the country.

The same place they get the money for their fat paypackets, the pensions, bailouts, speeding fines etc etc etc.

Typical Irish begrudgery being shown by you Mr. OToole!
Why shouldn't they get all the lavish trappings of wealth and power they worked, earned and fought so gallantly for. You should be thanking them they haven't had you killed yet. You should bow and be honoured if they tell you to touch their genitals.

So annoyed with people like you.

I'd love a root through the stuff they're getting rid of. I wonder what they'll do with that?

...and, you know that blue carpet in the dail? I'd love some of that for my stairs.

Sh!tbag, any pics of the '100% dent free filing cabinet'. Sounds amazing. Who would have known you could get a '100% dent free cabinet', I've only enter seen a 97% dent free cabinet

There wouldnt be any dents in them when they are new. If there were Hogan would send them back and not pay the supplier because he isn't happy with their service. Im only assuming they were dent free since they were new and nicely wrapped in plastic

    'tis shocking so it is.
My neighbour just bought a brand new BMW. In these recessionary times you'd think that a second hand run around would be enough for her.

"Oh look at me with my second hand beamer!", should a bicycle with a flat rear wheel, a squeaky front one and no seat.

It was fortuitous that you just happened to be in the vicinity to allow you to give us this fascinating reportage. Or are you monitoring events on site for some shadowy revolutionary movement. There is plenty in the papers about the great FG HQ refurbishment scandal but it is good to have an independent voice like yourself to give us the real story.

They hired a few people on JobBridge to make the stuff and then hired a man with a van, also on JobBridge to deliver.

John Paul, how are the new uniforms? Do they match the suede boots? Beautiful. Did you get the new trucks? Are they amphibious? Well, there's only one way to find out: We can always buy more.
