Anyone here work or ever work for them? have an interview for a Christmas position on monday and I have only sat one interview before, anybody know what questions to expect to be asked and what exactly to wear? I presume nothing too formal like a suit or something.

    All help appreciated!

A suit might be overkill, but consider trousers and a shirt or at the very least smart jeans and a shirt. IMO it shows you're taking the interview seriously. You're better off a bit too formal than too casual.

They'll be far more interested in your sales and customer service history than anything else, so have concrete examples of when you helped a customer, how you've dealt with difficult customers, how you've managed in very busy environments, etc. If you have any experience meeting sales targets or in up-selling then be sure to tell them about it.

They'll probably ask what sort of music you like or if you're into gaming. Be honest and don't try to bull**** them (don't say you game if you don't, don't say you like hip-hop if you don't) , but say you're open to listening to/playing all sorts. Have an awareness of what's in the charts now and what are expected to be the big sellers for Christmas.

    Good luck!

Solid advice above. Except about gaming, they don't sell games anymore.
