    Hi
I've lost my Free to Air channels on 2 Satellite Receiver Boxes.
Just wondering - are the channels gone - or maybe my boxes gone ??

    Thanks

When did you last have your receivers on?

There were transponder changes weeks ago, could that have caused your problem?

I had them working perfectly on Tuesday and Wednesday night,
I have two separate units operating from two separate Satellite dishes for an upstairs and downstairs TV set.
I had an unfortunate brainwave and decided in my wisdom to switch them and in the course of that I lost the signal on BOTH which is very strange,.
I can't seem to get the signal back. I can't believe that I've blown them both - but maybe this is possible ??
One was a SELFSAT 2400 and the other one I bought in LIDL or ALDI.

I tried to test one with a new cable running from the Sat to the Box and no luck. I also tried resetting to the factory settings on BOTH boxes and no luck either.
Any advice / help greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

So you swopped the 2 receivers around which were on different dishes. I assume these 2 dishes were looking at different satellites which would explain it. Swop the receivers back.

I tried that too - it didn't work unfortunately

I called the TV repair guy in the end.
He tested both LNB units outside on the Sat dishes and both were faulty.
He replaced the main one with a Quad LNB and I will be setting up both TV's to that later instead of using two Sat dishes.

    Problem is solved again now,
    Thanks for your help.
