My focus has started slipping and getting worse each day,I'm looking at the clutch kits and i can see 2 types one with a central slave cylinder and one without. Do i need the central slave cylinder as it's a good bit more?

Try going onto micksgarage and entering your reg, it may clear that up.

Other than that nobody will know without further information..

Year, Engine Code etc may allow someone diagnose it here.

You can just fit the 2 part kit but that means re-using the existing slave cylinder. If this subsequently fails you will end up paying for the same labour again as the gearbox will have to come out again to change it.

So it would be advisable to fit the 3 part kit.

Thanks that's what i was thinking, any idea roughly what it should cost to fit ,labour only?

For labour, gear oil and brake/clutch fluid we would want €250 inc VAT. However I'm sure there are plenty of lads out there who are willing to do it cheaper as a cash job or whatever.

Thanks, cars starting to cost a lot of money now has been virtually trouble free though.
