Just finished this. Simply amazing. I'm actually annoyed to upset that I'm finished.

Finished the game last night, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. ND really have mastered to art of story telling. The story was brilliant, and I especially enjoyed the
epilogue, with Cassie sneaking through Nates office and getting her hands on his locked wardrobe of history, and Nate being unwilling to tell her the truth
    .
I was a little disappointed with how Nadine kinda just petered out at the end. She went from being such a badass b!tch to being cowed so quickly that it was just a little ..... off.

So, apart from a couple of frame rate issues early game, and a little disappointment with the above, it was a truly enjoyable experience. Doubt I'd play the multiplayer too much, will give it a go though.

The multiplayer is kinda enjoyable, nothing groundbreaking mind, I've played some with randoms and the lack of teamwork makes it impossible to play anything except deathmatch. The other modes are good but you really need a bit of teamwork to get the most out if them.

I'll fully admit to not reading back through the thread for fear of spoilers, so sorry if this was previously covered, but....having not played any previous Uncharted games will i still get as much out of this? I know the collection was released for PS4 but just worried the older games may feel a bit dated by now.

I bought the Nathan Drake Collection earlier this year and played all 3 games for the first time, thoroughly enjoyable and done with the release of 4 in mind, you don't need to have played the earlier games but I was glad I had. I'm not sure what they're selling for at the minute but if you can get the earlier one's cheap then I'd say go for it especially if you have the time to play through them.

Edit: The NDC is 30euro on PSN Store (if you have PS+) so as long as you have the time then they are good games despite they're age.

Thanks - about how long did it take you to play through the first 3 games?

I had a lot of the trophies from my first play through and I'll probably end up going for a platinum on this but whats its made me want to do is go back and play The Last Of Us.

Which I'll probably do in the coming days.

I don't feel the same way about UC4 as I did TLOU

Nothing to make me replay it

    I agree with ya mate.

The multiplayer in UC4 isnt bad but I much prefered the team work it took to do well in TLOU.

I've played UC4 through twice now, once on hard the other on crushing but I cant see myself going back to it like the TLOU.

Actually, after I platinum it, probably in the coming days, I might even trade it in and go back to Fallout 4.

Myself and a couple if the lads on boards were playing the multi for a short while but most have already moved onto Overwatch.
We still play TLOU online which says so much about it

First post on boards :) Had the pleasure of playing through this over the weekend, an incredible game. 1-3 didn't grab me at all but I was hooked on this all the way through. I do think it could have shaved an hour off without any impact on the story, some of the later chapters were pure filler and I wasn't a huge fan of
    Libertalia
    .

Amazing game regardless and well worth a playthrough whether you're a fan of the series or a newcomer.

I'll have to jump on board a few of TLOU games.

I'm going re-start it tonight try chase a few of the S & S+ rank trophies which are meant to be pretty tough.

Love this game. So much so I'm going for the platinum. I've read about the crushing/sharpshooter/speed run cheat but I don't want to try it. I'd rather get the trophy legit.

Question; what is the best way to approach the above trophies without individually playing 3 times? I figure I'll use crushing to take my time and mop up all the treasures, journals and optional convo's I'm missing. So that's one playthrough already. Any suggestions for sharpshooter and speedrun?

just completed it and thought it was great.

would people recommend playing 1, 2 and 3 after 4? i've never played any apart from the new one. will they be frustrating after 4 or have they aged well? any deals on all three.

Apparently the first one has aged very badly, but I replayed 2 and 3 recently and they're absolutely fine. Uncharted 2 is the best in the series.

thanks, ill give two a go so!

I played through the remasters not so long ago and 1 held up surprisingly well. I remember when it came out it was amazing graphics wise and it still looks pretty dam good.

I'd play all 3, even the third one that gets a lot of stick is really good IMO. it just had the impossible task of following number 2 - one of the best games ever made.

All 3 for 30 quid, roughly 10hrs to complete each one.

So I'm on Chapter 16 now. Without spoilers am I close to the end yet?

I'm enjoying some aspects of the game, mainly the story scenes but the pacing in the game is just killing it in my opinion. I bought the game at launch but can only bring myself to play for about an hour every few days or so.

gave up after chapter 12, gameplay way too scripted for my liking, it all just felt so meh......... same with multiplayer, no ranking up your character, that too was meh..

They actually added ranking last week. Played a few rounds and had some fun with it.

PvE content on PvP maps, it could be a bit of craic.

I've played very little of PvP in this, pretty much just completed the campaign and left it at that. It would be great if this kicked some life back into it but I'm gonna guess it won't.

    So......

I was playing through UC4 again trying to get the note, journal, conversation and treasure trophies.

Got all of them except the treasure. I thought this was strange as I had actually collected all of the treasures and the chapter select showed all treasures received.

After digging around a bit on the web I found out that if you have two different saves (which I did), the treasures can't be mixed between the two of them. The suggested solution was to either start again from scratch or delete one of the saves and try and mop up the ones outstanding that had been linked to the deleted save.

I opted to delete one of the saves.....

    I was tired.

I wasn't looking at the screen properly.

I deleted ALL of my saves.

    I don't have PS Plus.

    No backups.

    It's all gone.
