    About two euro trigger

Always wondered why some things in the €2 shop cost €2.49

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 401 ✭✭theblaqueguy

I wouldn't expect anything you purchase there to be of good quality!

You would of been better off buying a €2 scratchcard

I've two mice and they are like pinky and the brain, one gets caught in the traps and the other one just laughs (or squeaks) at him.

I just end up letting him go then.

Potentially ambiguous thread title. Should be 'Bought a €2 mouse in the two euro shop for €2'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,041 ✭✭✭Seachmall

I once bought earphones in a €2 shop.

They were horrendous. I thought about going in to get a refund but figured the response would be along the lines of "You paid €2 for headphones, what did you expect? Knobhead."

    Lesson learned.

They can't take them back if they've been in your ears

(Or played any One Direction songs through them, surprisingly.)

They have to if they're not fit for purpose (and these were definitely fit for purpose, I could barely hear Adele in between the static!)

I've often wondered how the hell the manufacturers of this crap can possibly manufacture it so cheaply there can be a profit margin on it when it hits the consumer at 2 Euro (after shipping it to the other side of the planet too)

I'd imagine its just not pulling its weight and forcing colleagues to take up the slack. This is what happens though when you pay below minimum wage.

Bástardin thing doesnt work and never got a receipt well fúck them

You should go back and demand for it to be returned in exchange for a tin of their "beans 'n' pork"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭ghogie91

    3 options:
    1. feed it
    2. plug it in
    3. wind it up

If the above fails return the faulty animal/product and you could get about 8 mars bars for your money

I picked up a card that sang happy birthday in the €2 shop, by the time i got to the counter it was 2.49... I walked out B)
