    Hi guys..
I'm not what you could call proficient on Facebook so I have a question that I just cant answer...

I want to share a business deal on the facebook page for my business, its a small business page not a personal one..

However.. I've seen similar shared posts recently which have a "like page" button right there on the shared post...

How do I get the "like page" button onto shared posts ??

I'm probably missing something stupid :o

Facebook decides if that happens or not.

The posts you have seen are probably sponsored. So they are paying for the coverage and the likes.

You should consider this route if you want to get more coverage. Create a nice attractive post with your offer and sponsor the post. Make sure you know who you want to target first though.

    hi there,

Maybe those people done a paid promotion on their fb page post, to get 'the like' button onto the post.

On Facebook pages you can advertise any post to get more page likes or get more post likes.

If its your own business, I would create a google + page to promote your brand, as since fb went public, they only let about 20% of you're followers see your posts in order to force people to advertise their posts to make more money for their shareholders.

Each +1 you get from Google + page, creates a higher seo and ranking on google search engine. Also has amazing communities setup & you can have events as google hangouts with customers, fantastic for building relationships with customers if that suits your business. Also, u can assign someone else to be a manager of your google + page & community.

Anyway, something to think about. Fb profiles are cool for social reasons but brands & business should be using google +, in my opinion.

Here's my Google + Page as an example.

This information is incorrect. Edgerank has always existed and no brand page was ever reaching 100% of it's fan. If they were, Facebook would be unusable. Think about it - if you were to see every post from every Page and every one of your friends in your feed. This is the way it always was but Facebook never put a number on it. It has nothing to do with them going public.

It's definitely worth having a Google+ page for the above reasons. However, it is like sitting in an empty hall (cue tumbleweed)

haha ok Five Lamps. I didn't actually say anyone was getting 100% of anyones posts. I meant about 20% of the amount you used to get. :) Google + is getting busier each day and now is the time to start building you're brand there as facebook is overally congested with pages, likes etc etc. Even for the amazing communities & hangout event capabilties, it is wa better for brands to be. I'm definetely no expert on all this but I post the same content on both fb page and google + page and I get better results on google +.

Goodluck with you're business lads! All the best :)
