    Hi
Please see speed tests taken on my I phone through wifi. I took the first test in room beside my modem which I received earlier this week. The poor reading was taken two minutes later upstairs. I had a technician out on Tuesday and took tests for speeds to PC and got good readings.
Can you explain any possible reasons for this. There are no CCTV,baby monitors etc in house that may cause an issue ?
    Please advise.

    Hi avud

I'm sorry to hear this, the fact that you tested your signal at a further distance from the modem indicates that distance is a factor here. There are many things that can affect wifi coverage such as certain types of insulation and thick walls.

Sometimes all that is needed is a change of wifi channels however it's best to follow the advice on improving wireless here:

    Thanks

    Al
