Smithfield Market is the best but most expensive. It has a conceirge/security, lots of parking, newly built/newly furnished good size apartments, roof gardens etc. Basically, as good as you would expect from a dublin apartment (or basic human habitability anywhere else).

But there are none available to rent/share on daft at the moment. There's one awesome apartment on myhome.ie but €1650 for a two bed is quite steep:

All the others are different levels of 1990s shabby. Smithfield lofts are new but I don't know what they are like. Smithfield village are a bit better than the others but still a bit old and lived in. Richmond, sarsfield quay, Jervis street apartments etc are all 1990s and so don't expect any of the bells and whistles.

Other apartments are in old buildings etc so you get what you pay for.

Considering what they are asking youd think they could splash out for some photos that are slightly larger than a postage stamp...

They will probably rent it for that though, such is the demand for them. It's a mini bubble

The Old Distillery is pretty good- check that the security gates are working though.
