I am looking to purchase a ventriloquist doll, but i can seem to find any at a reasonable price, there 160+ on ebay, i want one where you can put your hand inside. Is there anywhere in the city that do them? i dont mind paying around 100 for one.

Did you have a look on Amazon, I see some have had their prices dropped.

Also, have you tried the local graveyard?

On the top of this page (on my screen anyway) there's an ad for www.throwthings.com which isn't Irish but it's an option. The dummies seem to be mostly $54.99 but the shipping is probably expensive. It doesn't say how much it is outside of the US. You have to contact them.

Was at a ventriloquist show one night in town with the girlfriend (who was well drunk) and there were lots of jokes in the act about blonde women being dumb and all that. I knew this would wind her up as it is a pet peeve of hers. He tells a few more and she is just fuming. "How do you put a twinkle in a blonde girl's eye? Shine a torch in her ear.

Girlfriend is livid and jumps up (just as the punchline is being delivered) and with everyone laughing at that joke starts to hurl abuse at the stage. "What gives you the right to suggest blonde women are thick? Who the fcuk do you think you are anyway!". The ventriloquist says "I'm very sorry but I wasn't meaning to cause offence" and she roars back: "Shut the fcuk up you and stay out of this. I'm talking to that little bastard on your knee."
