Hi just wondering what is the best wax, polish or clay bar for a black car?

Wax - DJ Purple Haze is nice.

Clay - depends on level of contamination - just go for regular.

Polish - start with what type of car it is, condition of paintwork etc rather than the colour. Polishing is nearly all trial and error, or experience.

What car have you? What condition is the paintwork in?

If you want the short and sweet solid cheap option for any black car, you can't go wrong with Orchard Autocare for tar and fallout remover, bilt hamber clay, PBs Blackhole (sealant/glaze) and PBs Blue Paste wax.

    Car will look very nice.

Can I ask if you own a Delorean and have you travelled back to 1985?

I'm joking. However, do make sure you wash off the T Cut nice and well.

That stuff will eat the lacquer.

I don't know will it really offer any improvement to be honest. But anyway, give it a shot.

Do look into those products I mentioned there too. You really will get a better return for your efforts and money.

Too late seeing this thread, but your choice of clay shoulnt be a factor.

When polishing, by hand, its best to stick to the same manufacturer of polish and wax/sealant used to seal it in. For example you could go with Autoglym Super Resin Polish and use AG Extra Gloss Protection or Chemical Guys Pro Polish 3n and Pete's53 to lock it in.

If he drove a DeLorean, all he'd need is a bag full of fine grade steel wool! :D:D

Vantage is the J.O.B. alright - not much known about it but have two coats of it on my Vectra at the moment. I got a sample pot of it a few years back it was a killer because as much as I loved it I couldn't get anymore for about 12 months afterwards.
