Photocopies not accepted?? But it's a PDF!! Does that mean printed copies are OK but copies are not? Makes no sense.

Probably just standard copy and pasted T&C's.

Used in Galway last night. Just showed the voucher on my phone. Got lovely Wooden doll bunk beds for €20 including bedding. Really great deal, especially with the extra pennies off from the voucher.

Has anybody used these in Ken Black's stores? They are essentially the same as Smyths.

I was having problems printing the voucher from the link provided in Smyth's promotional email and everything but the bar code printed, obvioulsy not much good without that. I tried the link above and the voucher printed off properly

Used it yesterday. Three different transactions, €30 saved PLUS they also applies all the other rebates (2 for €20 etc). Think we saved about €50 in total.

Showed the girl the voucher on phone, she divided up the tranactions. Slipped her a fiver to thank her

Printed off a few and handed them out to a queue at the cashier today. Felt awesome.

    Also saved myself €18

I printed vouchers earlier today but forgot to bring them with me! Downloaded the pdf to my phone, showed the cashier, she entered the code and saved me 12 squids. Some Chrimbo shopping done, out of the way nice and early - thanks OP. :)

argos are losing at lot of business to smyths argos has things on sale that they dont even have in stock, they do this every christmas with this sort of false advertizing and lots of people went to smyths instead as they actually had the items in stock . i heard 2 different women say the same thing to smyths staff yesterday out in airside .

I think somebody used a few but had to break up their transaction. You can't go in with a bundle of them & expect €60 off in one go.Just get €50 or whatever of stuff scanned at the till & use a voucher then repeat the process.

Did they accept the voucher on your phone? I was up in Carrickmines today but I couldn't use it on what I was buying. The guy told me it had to be printed out anyway and I told them they needed to step into the 21st century!

Have a look at the T & C's,I got the same email, seems like you have to spend €50 instore to get a voucher worth €6 off.If it's like the Argos method of issuing vouchers then it means you can only use the voucher off your next transaction which could be a bit of a bummer.I'd rather spend the €50 then receive a €6 discount off the amount I'd just spent.
