Key for cash box?

    Probably not antiques per se but i have a couple of old(1970's) metal cashboxes in the shed,would like to get keys for them if possible,has anybody got any ideas?

    Don't know which ones you're talking about but if they are the savings ones that were given out by banks and building societies where you slot the money into them, then they all tended to use the same key for the same make and type.

    I suspect the OP means this type of box which was popular back in the 70s for office petty cash and such uses, possibly still is....

    They would be sort of pointless if they all had the same pattern of key I'd imagine. Bin, not worth your while searching for keys they're only about a tenner new I would think.
