China: Three Year Old Girl Falls Through 4th Floor Railings

Girl, 3, dangles from balcony

A toddler in China has been found dangling by her neck from a fourth floor window grill, after apparently being left home alone by her parents.

Firefighters in the city of Guilin were called when passerby heard Chyou Wang's crying for help.

After breaking into the flat they found the 3-year-old wedged between the bars of the grilled balcony.

They had to widen the bars to pull the girl free.

It's thought the girl had slipped on the balcony and fell between the bars. She was stopped from falling further when her head got stuck.

Her parents said she must have got bored or gone to look for them and somehow managed to open the window by herself, the Daily Mail reported.

They said they often left her alone while they went to work and she usually just slept or watched television.

Wouldn't really call it a feel good ending when it transpired after that her parents leave a young child alone all day while they go to work. Scumbags. :mad:

Ah yeah, I just kinda meant for the kid. Hopefully in 15 years time, if still with us, she'll bear the fruit of that faithful day.
