Nissan Terrano II - Engine light on after car wash

Hi lads,

I bought a Nissan Terrano this time last year 2001 model. Worst thing I ever did.
Only had some injectors replaced on it and only Monday gone after the car wash the engine light came on again and now it's chugging at 2000rpm.

Looking to get rid of it now, but any ideas if the problem could be related to the car wash? Could the injectors get wet?

Lost and p1ssed off with the yoke :mad:

if its diesel , water wont effect injectors unless it entered diesel tank,so check fuel filter and if there is water in it use a injector cleaner in filter,had trouble with avensis after purchasing diesel , it rattled like ball bearings falling into a cup when taking off, took it to local commercials repair centre, they removed filter and it looked like bog water , they fitted a larger wider filter and filled filter bowl with injector cleaner and put remainder in tank. knew a chap with a nissan and i think he was constantly cribbing about relays malfunctioning in wet weather and he was always spraying wd40 around them, sorry cant help any more
