I was amazed to hear on Mid West Radio this morning that Mayo County Council had allowed #fracking in the county that already there has been surveys done in Swinford and Charlestown areas. I was amazed to hear on Mid West Radio this morning that Mayo County Council had allowed #fracking in the county that already there has been surveys done in Swinford and Charlestown areas.
This if true is a disgrace, Presenter Tommy Marren said that Councillors must have been canvassed by fracking companies.
We know how big companies when the chance is making big bucks can "bend the truth".
If fracking goes ahead in these areas we are back to the days of Gombeen politicians selling the countries assets for 30 pieces of silver
