It's a turtle. Unusual in Irish waters, but not unheard of. Hardly paranormal?

Looks more like an alien then a turtle to me

    Perhaps it's a haunted turtle?

According to this page, it's not out of it's (para)normal area at all.

Ah sure it's to be expected. 'Mysteries of the unexplained' are becoming rarer as they gradually become 'not a mystery at all. It's been explained'....

Our tortoise went walkabout in 1979, hasn't been seen since. I wonder...

When I was a kid there was a petrol station in Ardara (Donegal) that had a stuffed leatherback on display. It had washed up on one of the local beaches. Was amazing to a child, but again, perhaps not quite paranormal.

    Nice try though :-)

This has flippers and is a turtle.

So the tortoise transformed into a turtle. There's the paranormal aspect!

Thank you Doctor. Yes, we need to access government grant aid to research the tortoise-to-turtle phenomenon. And then maybe, just maybe I can finally put a period on what "really did happen" to Fred.
