Could Abba be about to reform?

Singer Agnetha drops hint band may perform concert next year to celebrate 40th anniversary of first hit Waterloo.

Agnetha Faltskog, 63, spoke about a reunion in a recent interview She said a concert to mark anniversary of Eurovision triumph was 'something we're thinking about' Ms Faltskog had been seen as the main barrier to reunion - but other band members have also been sceptical in the past Abba racked up string of hits and sold more than 380million records.

Personally I think they should leave well enough alone, and leave the memories intact. What do you think?

Would you like to see ABBA reform, or should they leave their legacy alone? 36 votes

Yes, I think an ABBA reunion is a great idea, and I would love to see them reformed.

No, It's a cash led money spinning exercise, that will leave ABBA fans very disappointed.

Couldn't care less either way, they're all old crusties now, so whatever :-)

Great within their time, but the songs are done to the death at wedding receptions and functions and everything else between.

Honestly don't like their music as a result anymore.

They should do a tour with AHA, AYA & EVE. Maybe have RACECAR & TNT do support.

    Palindrome world tour.

Someone asked me if I fancied Agatha.

    I said I do, I do, I do, I do.

Don't care. It's what all the bands are doing now when they split up and realise they have no other way of making money.

It's strange that it's coming from Agnetha. She's the one who had the hardest time living with the fame and became a recluse. As a one-off event maybe it could happen. Can't see them going on a tour or anything.

    Coincidence, i think not !

It would be kind of funny, if they did regroup and no one bought tickets to see them. I think they should have done it years ago.

As long as I don't have to listen to it, I'm easy.

It would be awesome but It will not happen, no matter how much money is thrown at them. I kind of respect them for it but would love to see them perform at least one song together.

I'd rather Guns n Roses got back together though. And I'm not just saying that to try and regain my manliness :D

I doubt they need the money.

Waterloo was some tune in fairness. A reunion would be entertaining to see!

I doubt that any of ABBA care very much about money. They're probably still making millions from royalties alone every year. If they do reform I'd say it would be because they genuinely want to perform together again. They have a large generation of younger fans now who'd love to see them live.

Wouldn't go see them myself (unless I got a free ticket) but imagine how much tickets would sell for if touts got a hold on them!

As long as the fans don't expect the same sound to come from Agnetha & Frida as they created & hamonised 30+ years ago!

It's all about Money Money Money!

    ABBA puns

Tis all the rage now, 70's and 80's groups reforming and going on tour. Could be good and certainly they should Take A Chance, Take A Chance, Take A Chackachanchance.........

(Damn you Backwards Man for making me do that....plus I'll be humming these songs all day now, grrrr)

I only care about a song is good or not. Don't care about the rest.
Their songs are brilliant and well-written froma musical point of view.

I don't mind them reforming as long as they bring something to the table. If it's just a rehash, no point.

They will have to use Auto Tune, the use of is more wide spread among older preformers then one would think.

Well Agnetha's voice on her most recent album 'A' sounds pretty good to me. A little more mellow perhaps, but instantly recognisable as her. Now whether any artificial aids were used in the production of the album I don't know.

I would get my mother a ticket for this as i am still being blamed because she could not leave her darling baby son to attend the concert when they played the RDS in 79'

    Aw man, I love ABBA.

If I could afford a ticket to the reunion concert, I'd feckin' love it.
