jobbridge and jsa

My partner has just come off illness benefit having been on it for 14 months, he is now well enough to start looking for work thank god!
My query is, I'm on a jobbridge, and when he went in to sign on, the lady gave him forms in relation to my "insurable employment" and looking for my last six payslips.. surely jobbridge is not classed as insurable employment as I don't pay prsi or usc? Did she just make a mistake???
Since the jsa he is applying is means tested on me, is the extra fifty euro I receive likely to be means tested, or qualify for means testing?
Has anyone got an idea of what he might be entitled to?
We also have a daughter which I receive a half rate for, as he was getting the other half included in his illness payment..

Anyone able to shed some light on this for me?
    Thanks in advance

As far as I can work out the €50 you receive is taken into account for means testing, but the fact you work 5 days is good as they disregard more of your wages the more days you work.

    At a guess I'd say €188 + €124 + €29.80 = €341

Less about €137 for your means, so his payment would be about €204.

Assuming you are on JSA you should each get €171.30 and you should get the extra €50 on top of your payment. The €50 is not assessed as means.
If you are on JSB you will get €252.90 and he will get €139.70.
It works out at the same rate either way it will just differ as to how it's apportioned.

I would say the person in the office made a mistake.
