Hi - firstly any help appreciated

Running through form 11 on ROS at the moment pre Thursdays on-line deadline. First time doing this, rented my apartment for 3 months in 2011 and submitted form 12 for those 3 months this time last year. For 2012 I registerd with ROS.

With all figures entered into ROS this is what I'm left with:

Profit from Letting premises- Self €1463
    Total Liabilty €1981

    Can this be correct?

Obviously I've left out alot of details here regarding my wages - to a complete tax numpty like me it seems im being taxed again on my income from employment.

Can anybody shed any light on this please?
    Thanks

It's possible that your tax credits are wrong, so that PAYE was underdeducted. ROS tends to catch up with that.

Thank you - seems like this is the case...went over my figures again and the liability has actually jumped to 2159. It's a sad sad day.

Can I claim the PAYE tax credit? If so this makes a big difference to the liable amount.
Personal tax credit was auto populated in ROS based on the figures i entered - but paye tax credit was not - I wasnt sure if this was already claimed through employment?

You need to tick this box to claim it. Some people with PAYE income are not entitled to it so it's not automatically granted.
