Does anyone know where you can get Replica Doc Martens? My daughter is looking for christmas but at the price of the real ones she wouldn't get much else (big family). I did come across some in River Island, she's looking for size 6, white if possible.

River Island, Penneys and most of the shops in the Ilac centre/Henry Street area would be your best bet. The one thing I'd say is that if you do go for real docs, they will last a lifetime so if it's something she really wants it might be worth the investment.

I have seen them in Penneys (not white though) and I saw a transparent pair in G2 in Galway. I know they are dear but worth it - they last for years and are so comfty. I have Doc shoes I got ten years ago. I did get fake Docs before and they not very comfortable.

Try ebay - Schuh have an outlet store or two, Branch 309 and Schuhstore I think; I have gotten cheap Cons there before.

Also I have seen Docs in TkMaxx - usually unusual coloured ones.

While id also advocate getting a real pair of docs, chances are the daughter just wants them because they're currently v. Trendy and they might be forgotten about by this time next year.

All the high street shoe shops will be doing knock offs over the winter. Try in new look, they do a lot of shoes.

Search Amazon UK for Doc Marten white.
They have original and knock off, prices starting at under GBP 20.

I'd say look online, amazon and ebay for the real deal, shops in Ireland tend to be a rip off for docs.

I've seen them in Shoe Rack..in lots of colours, not sure about white. They're €40.

Thanks for all the replies, she's only 12 with size 6 feet  hopefully they've stopped growing, but one of the reasons for not going for real ones.

Motive in the Ilac Center have them in white, and up to a size seven. Think they were around the twenty euro mark when I had a look last week.

Yeah Motive in the Ilac centre have them, but I think the sizing tends to be a bit big..

About a month ago Forever 21 had a brilliant white pair, you'd never guess they weren't official Docs! And they were comfier than the real deal too!
