Hi. Just a quick one.... how much would one pay a neighbouring lad to bring two cows to mart with jeep and trailer? The journey Is about 22miles round trip. I will sell them myself. I just havnt the trailer to bring them. He obliges every time I bring tweanlings for me. Should I pay per head or per job. Hes not a bad fella and dont know if im giving him enough. Gave him 50 the ladt time for bringing two 360kg weanlings.

40 would have been enough i would have thought so 50 is generous

hi last time I got a lorry to take cows{10} to the mart 15miles away he charged 15yo yos on each one, I thought that was a little steep.would have though 12 per head would have been the go of it.

if he took the 50 last time and was happy to do it again, id get him. or go buy your own trailer for a lot more.

I would go with €50 per job that way he knows what to expect and if you can rely on him its a win win situation
