RTE's Primetime investigates uncovers the truth about what really happened to a Food Safety Authority report which recommended that infants not be fed with with fluoridated water.

"That to avoid babies being over exposed to fluoride, the FSAI is of the opinion that infant formula should not be reconstituted with fluoridated tap water".

The report was withdrawn under suspicious circumstances and was not included in a final document where it was supposed to be.

The implications of this report would have been the end of water fluoridation in this country. It is quite clear that this report was blocked from ever seeing the light of day. See for yourself ->

Do you think its acceptable that such vital information is withheld from the public for no apparent reason?

Are there people in positions of power who are intent on protecting state policy at the expense of the nations health?

How full of bullsh1t was minister Alex White last week in the dail when he said; "The FSAI and the expert body also advise that theres no significant evidence of any adverse affects to the health of infants consuming infant formula made up of fluoridated tap water".?

(Apologies to those who are weary of this issue. It could have been over and done with the other day had the dail not voted against sinn fein's proposed ban on the practice. Looks like its gonna drag on for another couple of years until its finally taken out).

Was the dail representing you when they voted to keep fluoride in your tap water?

it could easily be over and done with if those who don't accept scientific methods and findings just switch to homeopathic Kool-Aid.

They also add massive quantities of aluminium to keep the water looking clear. Tanker load after tanker load. The flouride is just one issue with the mains water. There's others. It's not the best gear to be chucking down your neck. Happily, no-one gives a damn. Ah well. Or "our well" in my case. Which is where I get my water from.
