Advice on plasterboard in Bathroom

I am getting my bathroom renovated and part of this will include tiling from floor to ceiling. I am also moving pipes so will be removing a wall.

If I put up moisture board am I right in thinking that the tiles can be laid directly onto it? Is there any significant difference in putting up the moisture board compared to normal plasterboard?

    Thanks.

Yea your better with the moisture board for the sake of extra expense put up your slabs fill your joints with scrim and joint filler and tile straight on to slab. Easier tile on slab rather then skim won't dry in as quick better job
