Lads I was just wondering if I woul be better off buying a new gearbox or getting the one I have upgraded. I have a CA M15A4 and I want it to have a higher ROF faster trigger response. Also want increased rande but I know that I that's mostly to do with the bop and barrel.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Definitely upgrade the current one.the cheapest way to increase rof and trigger response is to get dean's connectors.the easiest is to get a bigger battery.and the best way is to get high speed gears and/or a high speed motor

To be brutally honest, new gun.
Unless I've missed something Sportsline guns are crap. You'd easily spend upwards of €150 upgrading it and you'll still be stuck with a receiver that'll break if you look at it funny. It can be done, I just don't feel it'd be economically worth it.

    On a budget though:
    6mm steel bushings,
    shim the gearbox,
    SHS gearset,
Polycarbonate piston/piston head (w/ AOE mod).

ROF and reliability will increase and the parts will run you about €60.
Add a good hop and barrel onto that and you're at around the €100 mark, before paying for labour!

+1 to what Lefty said and on top of that there's a high possibility of the receiver breaking during the upgrade process, especially if the tech is going to be taking the GB in and out of the AEG constantly testing if it all works okay. The receivers are just so bad.

Don't really want a new gun tbh. I was already planning on a full metal receiver and new barrel/hop. So it's either a new gbb or upgraded current gb

By the time you've gotten a new receiver you'll have paid way more in parts and labour than you would have paid for, for a better AEG. It just becomes uneconomical.

You know you can build a full metal m4 for under €125 ( provided you get lucky with customs) that would be way better than a CA sportsline. Sell the sportsline build a dmr and improve it as funds/needs dictate.
