Driving across the M50 northbound this afternoon about 2:30pm you could see the leading edge of the front that passed over Ireland today. Looking west and east you could see the edge of cloud, stretching for miles, as far as the eye could see, even from the higher vantage points. In front of it was blue sky, behind it grey clouds, looking like they were stretched like a piece of an elastic band. It looked spectacular. Certainly an "I wish I had a camera with me" sight. It was very slow moving too. I was out for much of the afternoon and kept an eye on it and it moved very, very slowly. 2 hours after I first saw it, you could still see the grey and blue division. I've often seen this kind of thing, but today was that bit extra special. Did anyone else see it today?

Could see it from here also off in the distance to the east earlier in the day.
