    Hi

    I am 17 years old and want to get something different for my family for Christmas. Last year I got tickets to a comedy show but theyre doesnt appear to be any good ones out next year. The gift is for 6 people (parents in their early 50s and everyone else in their 20s). I am wondering does anyone have any suggestions of what I could get. The problem is my budget is limited to about 40 euro per person

    Thanks

    What about a board game for everyone and then organise a family night and maybe treat them to take away and play the game?
    Trivial pursuit,Carcassonne,Dominion?
    Ice skating tickets?
    A family portrait ?

    Family portrait is a nice idea - plenty to pick from on dealpage.ie too that won't cost much at all.

    You would be talking about 40euros * 5pax => 200euros

    Is their anything that the household would use regularly and would maybe need that could be purchased?

    A portrait would be lovely, but if their was something that maybe they would use more, and may perhaps need and could use, that 200euros could be spent on something useful like a house appliance. Not sexy by any means, but practical and helpful :)
