chicken coop design

    hello

    im looking for a website that has a step by step guide to building a chicken coop or any personal experiences :)

    it will only be for 2 or 3 hens for the moment

    thanks and any tips would be great

    I was looking for the same a few years ago couldn't find it. No problem getting plans if you pay for them :mad:

    ya ive been searching around for the last few hours can't find anything detailed enough

    They can be as nice and fancy as you want but starting out i would not spend too much on it and see how you get on with them first a simple box made of wood 3 foot by 3 foot and 3 foot high and a water proof roof on it and than after a while you will be able to design a house to there needs.

    I did something like this one, just changed it around a small bit to suit myself but the frame is basically the same

    You don't need anything too fancy just a a large box with a roof, laying boxes inside and a roost.

    All I can say is make it mink proof especially and it will be good enough for foxes too. Friend of mine has been wiped out twice this yr already a total of 30 roughly dead by him.
    If You know any gun club near ya or fellows that have release pens for game birds talk to them they will give you hints and ideas on what to use.
