    hi all )

i want to buy a torch of some description for loosening bolts on my 4x4 project vehicle. the thing is i dont know anything about them.

so far ive noticed the turbotorch, they look and probably are, good, fairly pricey tho!

    also saw the bernzomatic.

can anyone tell me about what to look for in a product like this, or suggest other brands, maybe something that doesn't cost 100 euro?

ill shell out the grade for it, if thats what needs to be done.

    thanks for reading,

    regards,
    redd .

Both are good torches. The standard Turbo Torch (usa) is the one I'd go for (I have one)
The best thing about it is that it doesn't flare if you tilt the tank at an angle which would be useful for getting into awkward spaces etc.
Plumbers have been using them for years and most plumbing shops will have them.

You can also get a smaller diam nozzle tube to fit the reg unit.

Mapp is a dearer gas and burns hotter. Propane should do the trick.

sound 1.618, thanks for the input man. i went and bought this one. it looks like it'll accept a wide range of canisters and will reach pretty high temps
