Download caps

Just something I noticed recently when looking at BB packages was that speeds have gone way up but caps are still miserable tiny.

Why would anyone who downloads 30gb per month need up to 50/70Mb speeds? I'm nearly sure our 512 bb years ago had the same cap?

Is this just a backwards Ireland thing or a way of getting people to sign up, exceed their cap and let them pay for it?

Isn't it great that people without massive usage can get decent speeds, just because you're not constantly downloading or have loads of users and devices in the house doesn't mean you can't enjoy decent speeds.

We only use about 40Gb at the moment, just got netflix so that'll probably change.
