Best Saorview/FTA Combi TV?

I am thinking of getting an LG TV with Saorview/FTA built in.

I have a Walker TV with both built in however: -

You have to flick between Saorview and FTA, I'd like a straight-forward list of channels.

They aren't the greatest of TVs

Do all TV with Terrestrial and Sat receivers require the users to flick between both receivers (I know its not a major issue).

Can you record Saorview while watching FTA and vis-a-versa?

A Humax Freesat + HDR box and a 40" to 48" Toshiba, LG or Samsung NON-Smart TV. Add small laptop with a long HDMI cable cheaper than extra cost of a Smart TV (which often need a Smart phone to control) and more functional.

Given the number of Stations on Saorview you'll watch or want to record vs Freesat the saving vs functionality is worth it. Or if not interested in Recording a basic Freesat HD box.

There is NO affordable TV with sensible Sat + Saorview + decent PVR Recording. If you want best Recording solution for Saorview + Freesat the solutions are:
Walker Saorview PVR (or possibly Humax Freeview+ HDR) + Humax Freesat + HDR
    OR
A custom four tuner Linux Media Centre
    Or
Windows XP + four Tuners + DVDviewer + MHEG plugin
    OR
Windows 7 Professional Media Options + Four tuners using either MS media programs or DVDviewer + MHEG plugin
    OR
Some very expensive customised "open" Linux based Setbox PVR with 2 x USB TV tuners added to the 2 internal tuners + HDD.

Anything without a built in HDD is a "recording feature" of variable reliability vs built in HDD.

Walker are only an Import and Marketing company. AFAIK it's all badged Vestel, so same part of market as all the Cheapest UK stuff (often with familar UK names).

Sony & Panasonic you pay extra for the name. Panasonic SW has always been a pain. Philips TVs don't exist, someone Asian with rights to Philips Badge. Everything else might be a Vestel. Tesco own brand stuff isn't even the same insides always, even if the box is the same. Some Tesco/Techika is OK, and some isn't.

There are no combi TVs that I know of that combines both Saorview and FTA satellite channels in one list. All require a single or multi-button presses to switch between Saorview and FTA sat.

How many remote control button presses does the Walker combi TV require to switch between each tuner?

My Sony combi TV requires a single button press to switch between each. Other combi TVs from Samsung and LG requires you to go into the menu to switch between tuners, had a play with an LG in Currys once and was glad I had the Sony.

    Set-top box only once

    TV you press

    1. Press *
    2. select required tuner DTT, Cable or Digital Sat up or down twice to select either DTT or SAT (press twice)
    3. press back to get rid of menu from screen

    total 4

I thought Samsung might not require this button change.
