    Hi all,
Just sold my hybrid at the weekend and looking to get a road bike. Seeing that I won't be doing a lot of cycling between now and Feb, are the prices going to be similar between Nov and Jan?

    TIA

Around this time of year you will find lots of good condition second hand and discounted 2013 model bikes knocking around.

The best time to buy is usually around one week after you've purchased. :)

Thanks. I can claim some cash back from work if I buy new, so will probably go that route. (Not Bike to work, did that 3 years ago and can't do it for 2 more years).

    Hi tec driver,

I think (based on my experience at any rate) that the best time to buy new is in jan or feb. Last feb I bought from rose bikes (link below) and got one of the last bikes in my size from their 2012 range of bikess. Buying online from them or other online bike sellers would probably be your best bet if you are not using the btw and want a new bike.

Other online direct seller is canyon.
Only potential downside would be if you are not familiar with your ideal bike dimensions (size) but you have a couple of months to figure it out I guess.
