Hey guys, myself and my girlfriend both signed up to the same contract in a mobile network recently.

We signed up in carphone warehouse and I felt at the time it was likely the girl at the desk was giving us a deal that didn't exist. We signed up with emobile for 49e a month unlimited everything 18 months and free htc one, which at the time was brand new top end phone. More ominously I am pretty keen on phones and I knew emobile offered no such contract particularly to non eircom customers. Other boards members confirmed that they were unable to get the same deal unless they were with eircom and willing to commit to two years.

We do sign up, and ultimately I end up needing some help with costumer service, they ultimately confirm the contract doesn't exist. But because I've signed they kinda just have to put it through.

Anyway, few months down the line the GF gets a message saying she's close to her 5gb datalimit. Emobile uunlimited fair usage policy is 15gb. So I ring them and check what contract I'm on, tthey confirm I'm on 15gb and paying 49e, but when I check my bill I'm actually on 5gb paying 39e - at the moment this is working in my benefit, no complaints at I feel I should just roll with it and not rock the boat. Any chance I'll get shafted for the extra 10er a month at some point.
