Race geometry ~ new bike (sorry)

So I've decided to pull the trigger on a new bike (call it mid life crisis, if you must)
What are peoples opinions on 'race geometry'. I'm currently on Canyon Alu6. I don't (currently) race, but with Strava, every spin is a race of sorts.
I don't want to get a bike that is so racey, that it is uncomfortable on longer 100k spins.
Currently thinking Bianchi Sempre, Canyon SL or one of the ROSE bikes.

My head is melting with the options.

    Mamil

Of those, Bianchi would be the classic mid-life crisis bike.

It sure has all the credentials. Is the geometry of Sempre Pro very racey??

I'm not an expert on this at all.

The head tube a bit shorter (perhaps 20mm) than your AL 6.0. It's about normal for a race bike - the AL 6.0 is fairly relaxed ("sportive" geometry or whatever).

Same as your self im going to pull the trigger on a new yoke, its going to be my last race bike and like you me poor head is spinning
So far my short list reads like this but i have no idea what to get other than i want Di2 on it and the list gets changed all the time, plus most of this lot would be over budget but i dont need wheels so that will bring it down http://2010.feltracing.com/USA/2010-Product-Catalog/Road/AR-Series/AR5.aspx

Nice choices you've got there. This new bike thing sure is a tough choice. Ive made much more (life changing) choices a lot quicker...... The Specialised is nice....

I know it's a lazy sexist cliché, but it's funny how men can be entirely colour blind when it comes to interior decoration (apple white? looks white to me) but bike components are "champagne" or "celeste" rather than "beige" and "green".

Ok, so after another 'sleep on it',... It looks like I'm going to go with a ROSE Carbon bike. Excellent value. And not as 'showie' as Bianchi

Until I change my mind at tea break.

Ahh champagne was meant to be campagnolo, damn autocorrect.
However, now that I see it in text champagne sounds beautiful:)
