I can't abide that line spoken in earnest(Marilyn Monroe quote IIRC?). Though it's handy red flag to tell you you're dealing with a self centered neurotic. Like that song some older viewers may remember that was quite popular for a time, entitled "I'm a bitch" sung by Meredith Brooks(I googled). Where the title is the chorus and the verses explain why. Yep love you could have just sung the chorus and saved on airtime. However it was meant to be an empowering song. Though IIRC it was written by Alanis Morrisette who didn't understand irony either so...
