The CWU have served strike notice on the outsourced company working for eircom. They are seeking pay rises. Meteor emobile eircom efibre and evision centres will only have limited staff so if you have to call then call before friday

Who actually still uses Eircom? They're terrible, brutal customer service too.

Bah ha ha ha! It's been a long time since Eircom have had enough power in this country to hold people to ransom. They'll lose customers in the droves.

Think they are called firstsource looking at the history on the net.

Cant blame Eircom by the looks of it. The CWU union probably looking to show a front and recruit new members seeing as their cushdy ESOT agreement went down the tube

nobody gets held to ransom in a strike, strikes are necessary when all else fails

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

How much longer are eircom to be allowed to rape the country? Useless shower of debt-ridden muppets. Sure, they still cannot even respond to queries about if they are ripping off the Irish people by illegally charging VAT on cancellations nearly 18 months after the issue was raised with them.

Run out the country on a rail should be the appropriate response.
