04 Passat Window Motor

    Motor went on passenger window on above car (was hoping it had just jumped off tracks).

    Anyone know anywhere that might supply & fit a second hand motor & rough cost?

    Will it fail an NCT if not fixed?

    Not sure if the motor is gone or if it needs a repair kit. Most generally only need a repair kit (Go to any mechanic and ask, doesn't need to be main dealer.)

    Here is a repair kit i searched online, obviously speak to a mechanic and make sure you get the correct one for your car if its needed: Repair Kit

    My advice would be to take it for the NCT anyway, even if it fails on the window, it will be a visual inspection for re-test and should not cost a fee.
