    I'd expect that most of those reviewers bought them at a much higher price. I've yet to see a pair of earphones with armatures for anything close to this. I have a pair of the UE 700 (with duel armatures) and they are by far the best sounding earphones that I've ever used although not the most robust looking.

    Seem like a lot of them broke. Problem with IEMs is people don't know how to get seal and without that, they sound thin with no bass. Which is how a lot of those negative reviews describe them. The other thing is people have got used to too much bass, with all the mids cut. So it takes some adjustment to wean yourself off that.
