Same problem here. No sound on RTE 2 HD on Sky(channel 102). RTE 2 normal (channel 115), as well as all other channels are fine for sound. Looks like Sky problem.

Just to be clear. 102 is RTE2 SD and 115 is RTE2 HD.

As posted earlier I have no problem with sound on 102 which is what the OP was asking but I have no sound on 115

Check that the sound in settings is not Dolby. It should be set to normal

If you have the HD package 102 is RTE 2 HD and 115 is RTE 2 SD, if you don't have HD package is as above 102 is RTE 2 SD and 115 is RTE 2 HD

maybe for you it is - for those on HD package its other way around as we have posted.

I have no sound on RTE HD (on channel 102) RTE SD (on channel 115) is working without issue.

My bad folks :o I dont have the HD package so assumed that the SD and HD channels were all on the same numbers. Its kind silly changing them around depending on the package.

Anyhow, as stated no sound on RTE2 HD for me

Same here, have HD and there is no sound on RTE Two HD. All other channels are fine.

Just checked mine too and no sound either on 102 (HD) sound is fine on 115 (SD)

Also changed sound settings from Dolby to normal but there was no change. I also have sound through optical out but still no audio!

Hope it won't interfere with recording of Homeland later!

Came on here to ask the question as no sound here on the HD channel.
Glad to see that its someone elses issue cause I only found it after my sky box had a bit of an episode where it froze. I then flixked over to find no sound on rte2.

Working fine for me on 102 and 115.

If I set my HDMI audio output to Dolby Digital I have no sound but it works fine on Normal.

Seems to be fixed just there for me.

That is right for some people but it was definitely not working for me as no settings were changed. In any case it appears to have been fixed in the past few mins.

Ya its back now. Sound is fine again. Its nothing to do with changing sound settings. Was a general issue.

Off again this morning too. Luckily my son can watch Ben & Holly and Peppa Pig on 115.

Does anyone know who do we need to complain to? RTE or Sky?
