    I never knew not to keep onions and garlic in the fridge..

    Also it says that 1/2 oz is 15 grams I always thought it was 14 grams...

    You're right. 1oz is 28.4g, so 15g is not quite correct for 1/2oz, but it is rare that a difference of a gram is going to make a difference.

    The main reason that I know of for not keeping onions and garlic in the fridge is that everything else will absorb the smell.

    I know meat temp. is a controversial but... honestly think 85 degree chicken is overdone chicken. I know many fine dining restaurants will get it up past 63.5
