He's only a calf and semen won't be available till march because of his age

    He has only got fertility

    No milk or milk solids

A bull with that low of milk should have over 30kg solids minimum and should improve percentages by .50 combined minimum

It's bulls like this that lads use the argument that Ebi is breeding milk out of cows and only focusing on fertility which is a shame

Using all abs bulls here, would you not rate classic/tabber/levi/irresistable all plus on protein plus 300kgs milk with good fertility/daughter proofs and most importantly they actually have daughters milking unlike 90% of the bulls on the irish market

MWL. Levi looks to be the best bull available with OJI breeding, closely following his grandsires proof. Used as a sire of sons worldwide, he must be great value at 16 yo yo.

Have 5 spring born heifers of him turning into nice animals alrite....unreal easy calving bull heifers just pop them out, classic dosent look to bad either hez sexed aswell will be using alot of him in the spring,
pello if your looking for milk is very impressive alot of the northern lads are using him plus 980 kg putting him on any thing freisian thats lacking in milk should leavr any resulting heifer calves with plenty of the white stuff

Stan do the percentages actually matter much? Especially if everyone gets moved fully onto a MS payment price (like in NZ). I'm largely just picking the bulls with the best KGs, specifically ones with high protein which has a much higher weighting in the A+B-C (likes of PBM which is currently +17kg for P).

But agreed on the last point, its the main reason I'm ignoring pure british fr, Any of PGs are rubbish for production, well less than any JEs even!

I use nearly all ABS straws for the reason i find them very well priced, but got there latest cat left in now i only went through the first half of it but was very unimpressed by the bulls they seem to be going back to the type of bulls the had 5 or 6 years ago "high volume lower solids" basically not really suited to ireland
