Hi all,

was helping a friend yesterday, he got a JVC head unit from halfords and we were fitting it.

All went well except the unit wouldn't turn on.

There was the yellow and red wires that you can swap around then there was another red open connector for an ignition wire.

We tried running a wire from the brown wire from the cigarette lighter into the red connector but it still wouldn't work.

Any thoughts or bright ideas? and yes the fuse was in (not during installation mind you) and the cigarette lighter was working.
