I ordered one this week. I've no shed for the RX-7, and when I get a shed I want it to be a decent one. It seems perfect for a stopgap over the winter.

Anyone have any experiences? Use much electricity?

I just put my bike into one today, cant say good or bad yet but it looks pretty robust, a small fan on it I'd say if it costs 1 euro per week thats about all. My bike is in a shed but the condensation on cold or damp days was rusting the crap out of it. Next couple of days are forecast to be cold and damp so I'll be seeing how it works out.

I've used one for the past four or five years. They use precious little electricity, and aside from the hassle of getting the car in and out, they're grand.

That's what I wanted to hear with regards to electricity :) Getting it in and out will be a hassle alright, but it's a bit of a hassle getting my Mazda in and out of the backyard as it is, so I'm used to it :D

It'd cost closer to a euro a month. They estimate £5 a year for the bike bubble.

I've used one for the past few years and it makes such a difference to the car, especially the interior. Running costs are very little as it's two PC fans that are being used.

I've an indoor one and I usually hang it from the rafters of the garage with guy ropes made from an old sweeping brush handle and an old clothes line. Then all I do is unzip, lift and push the car out.....

Absolute genious idea, its always a hassle removing the cover, but that sounds like the proper job.

With regard to running costs, I did a test on an indoor Evo carcoon here last year, where I left it running in the workshop for a week with everything else switched off on fuse box, and we were able to work out that at last years ESB rates it cost us €0.35cent per week to run. The bike one will use half that because it only has one fan
