    Hi

I was wondering can you set up an English bank account for your northern Ireland branch but do it without having to travel up north?

    Hi Gardenlad123,

To open a sterling account with a Northern Ireland branch, you will need to contact the branch you wish to open an account with as it is at their discretion if they open a non resident account. You will then need to complete a new account application form and produce valid identification documentation, proof of true name and address.

Alternatively, you could contact your branch in the Republic of Ireland as we also provide currency accounts. The branch can then discuss if this would be a suitable option for you.

    Thanks
    Linda
