Hello cyclists, my condolences to anyone who got swept off the bike in todays storm!
I was looking for a Winter bike since I got a good offer for my last one (felt z100 alluminium) in april this year.
I came across this GIANT TCX 3 2012 in a farmers shed few miles away, good friend but its his wifes so dunno what to offer her but they dont really want it.
Anyways its like new apart from the dirt, Shimano 2300 shifters and deraillures.
FSA Triple Crank, SRAM Casette (dunno sizes yet), GIANT CR51 Wheelset and original Giant 25c's. TekTro mountain bike type brakes (dunno what they called).
And before yee ask its actually good fit for me (55.5cm top tube, medium).
What yee nice people think its worth (I think it was 800-900 new) and would it be a good winter trekker (I know its a cyclo-cross frame).
Oh and heres some photos.... Thanks for replying,,,,

    They're called cantilever brakes ;)

Not worth a whole lot because of it's low end groupset. I'd say around 270 myself.

If I was buying from a friend and not wanting to feel like I was taking advantage and the bike was in good nick, I'd gladly pay 300 for it.

Perfect winter bike and everyday commuter. Will take full mudguards and a rack too.
The bartop brakes make it handy for the city too, nice and upright so you can see everything.

Exactly it would be awful handy and after the spin i had this morning i think this kinda bike is spot on.
Might even upgrade it to ten speed double at some stage. Thanks
