Role of Bridesmaid???

    Hi I am a bridesmaid for my future sister in law. There is one other bridesmaid and a chief bridesmaid. The other bridesmaid lives in australia and I live on the opposite side of the country to the chiefbridesmaid and bride. We have had then hen and I did not play a big role in organising it as I was abroad for a while.
    The chief did a great job of the hen and spent a bit of money. I gave her some money but i have no idea if i gave her enough.
    What are the responsibilities of the chief/bridesmaids??
    Who is suppose to pay for what?

    From my experience it is mostly moral support and to help her with the running around.

    Sounds like you'd be better off talking to the chief bridesmaid and asking what help you could give her at this stage. And how much was spent on the hen so it can be split 3 ways. After that see what help the bride needs (there might be flowers or venue decoration or what ever else needs to be done at this stage). It's not really about 'duties', it's about being as helpful as you can be.
