I want to get bread, potato's and that stuff out of my diet.

I was just wondering what would be a good replacement for eating instead of the above kind of foods, as without them I always seem to feel very hungry. Example being if I had a couple of eggs and chicken fillet, possibly some veg, I'd still feel hungry-ish.... but if I added some potatoes I would always feel full.

Takes a few weeks for the body to stop craving carbs, stick it out and you'll be grand.

In the mean time you could add in extra fibre 30 mins before your meals as this will help with satiety. Good sources of extra fibre are Appel pectin and psyllium husk.

Or fill the plate with steamed green veg.

have sweet potato, butter nut squash or rice instead.

If you function well on oat cakes then try them also.

Add butter to your veggies and this will keep you feeling fuller for longer and help with getting in good fats

beans and lentils make a good replacement for potatoes and they will keep for up to a week if stored in the fridge after cooking. I soak over night (or two) with two tablespoons of vinegar. some lentils are up to 24% protein by dry weight.
I would also recommend you stock up on your favourite spices as beans are spices are a match made in heaven.

as with all things nutrition, listen to your gut/body if your not thriving on any food/food group then cut it out, your gut knows more than the internet. :)

A heap of spinach has become my go-to replacement for potatoes or bread with salad, curry, etc.
