Hi all, I broke my S4 yesterday:mad: but it is insured so getting it sorted through that. I want to back up everything off my phone onto my pc. The phone functions (I can hear txts and calls coming in) but the screen is completely dead so I can't do anything on the phone. I have never hooked the phone up to the computer…

Hi all,

I broke my S4 yesterday:mad: but it is insured so getting it sorted through that.
I want to back up everything off my phone onto my pc.
The phone functions (I can hear txts and calls coming in) but the screen is completely dead so I can't do anything on the phone.

I have never hooked the phone up to the computer before.
I've downloaded the Kies software, but the when I connect with a usb cable the pc is not recognising the connection. I have run the troubleshoot option but that has done nothing.

Is there anything else I can do?
