Chimney Draught

    Hi,

with the current cold evenings along with the high winds we have been experiencing a cold draught in the sitting room.
We've traced the draught back ot the fireplace.

If it was a straight forward fireplace I would consider a chimney balloon to block the draught.
But we have a stove (not an inset) and the flue goes up the chimney.

I don't know how far up the flue goes, would it be likely to go the full way up ?

Is there any solutions to stopping the draught coming down round the flue ?

Yes. There's cowels specifically suitable for downdraft. Go to a hardware store that sells them and ask them
